IT HAS TO BE SAFE
IT HAS TO BE FUN
IT HAS TO BE FAIR
The minimum age is fifty and we have players in their fifties to late seventies all playing on the pitch together, so we need to always ensure it is safe for all.
Environment:
In case of emergency we have a defibrillator and medical bag at the side of the pitch.
Among the players there are trained first-aiders.
Referees:
Each pitch is controlled by a qualified football referee.
What the referee decides is final.
Abuse and dissent is not tolerated.
The referee controls the game to the stated rules and will always err on the side of safety.
Respect:
We expect all players and supporting members to show honesty and respect at all times.
Though it is a competition, the aim is to enjoy playing and to have fun.
Winning or losing is not going to change the world.
Just accept what the referee decides.

Team Organiser Role
Each team must have at least one Team Organiser who represents the team within the league structure.
The Team Organiser will:
-
Be a member of the Local League WhatsApp Group where information is shared and questions raised
-
Ensure that the team they organise is available and ready to play on their designated matchdays
-
Provide the link between the league organisers and the players
-
Ensure the team and supporting members show respect and courtesy to all other players and officials
It is also advised that the Team Organiser maintain contact and brief medical notes for each player within their team. This form also indicates if the player is a trained First Aider. This does not need to be distributed but should be available in case of any accident or emergency.
An example form is available on the Sample Medical Sheet link below:
