Godalming Blues

Godalming Walking Football Club was formed in 2017, following the decision that the area needed a club for the ever popular game. After 2 successful seasons on the pitch, the club was formally set up and a Committee formed in October 2019. The club is a members club, with guests able to play at training sessions and formally invited to become members of the club.

In 2021, GWFC went from strength to strength, winning the 50+ Thames Valley League Premier title, and the Surrey FA 50+ League and League Cup, with the 60+ also winning the League Cup.

In 2022, they built on that success even further, with Surrey County Cup wins for the 50+, 60+, 65+ and newly formed Multiage team. The 50+, 60+ and Multiage teams also won their respective Surrey Leagues.
The 60+ team won the Thames Valley League at their first attempt, before the club decided to take up the new challenge of participating in the Middlesex FA Walking Football League.

For the first time both 50+ and 60+ qualified for the WFA National Finals (The last 8 in the country in what is the FA cup of walking football!) at Lilleshall in September , with the 60+team taking Runners-up spot and the 50+ remaining unbeaten on the day, which was a fantastic achievement for the club.

With membership now over 50, the main emphasis though, continues to be, to stay healthy, play football in the right spirit and make new friends on the way.

The Godalming social session is on a Friday evening and is played at Kings College in Guildford.

Tadley Statin Strollers

Tadley first came down to watch some of the Local League games being played during the first season.  They were not playing competitive matches and wanted to see if it would work for them as a club.

Tadley joined for the second season and after a few rounds were playing competitively and as well as everyone else.  Although the early results meant some catching up, during the latter part of the league rounds, the Tadley performances meant they could match and beat anyone.

The Tadley social sessions are played on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Vyne School, Vyne Road, Basingstoke, RG21 5PB.

Anyone interested in playing with Tadley Statin Strollers on the Vyne School 3G pitches, should go along and see what they are all about.

Yateley United

Yateley have been a valued part of the Local League from the beginning.  They were somewhat of a slow burn through the 2021 - 2022 season and did struggle to get good results.  By the 2022 - 2023 season they were seasoned competitors and were regularly winning games.

During the end-of-season Cup they were very unlucky not to reach the final and I'm sure that momentum will continue into this coming season.

Yateley play their social sessions on Monday evenings from 6:30pm to 8pm and on Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 3:30pm.  Friendly matches are often organised for Wednesday evenings.

Yateley play on a short pile astro-turf pitch in Eversley and have use of the Yateley United Community Centre for social activities.
